Along with using modern techniques, the farm demonstrates traditional cheese-making methods and explains the differences in using fresh goat\u2019s, sheep\u2019s and cow\u2019s milk. Just before you reach the village, you\u2019ll find\u00a0<em>Mykonian Spiti<\/em>, where you\u2019re invited to experience the ways of a traditional home (as its name translates) \u2013 perhaps through a cookery lesson using vegetables from the family\u2019s nearby farm accompanied by stories of local traditions, religion, and family life. Another farm \u2013 the Mykonos\u00a0<em>Vioma Organic Farm<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 is also found just outside of town. There, you can buy vegetables, dairy products, and wines, as well as honey from the farm\u2019s 20 beehives.
