But, this upcoming winter, be prepared for something that might just convince even the most cold-avoiding people among us to enjoy the season. This December, the new Club Med Qu\u00e9bec Charlevoix, Canada\u2019s inaugural Club Med resort \u2013 and the country\u2019s very first all-inclusive mountain resort \u2013 will be welcoming guests in Qu\u00e9bec\u2019s magnificent Charlevoix region.<\/p>\n

A Long Tradition in Hospitality<\/h4>\n

Considered the \u201ccradle of resort vacationing in Canada,\u201d Charlevoix has a rich hospitality tradition and has been welcoming travelers in search of beautiful landscapes and a change of scenery for over two centuries. And with good reason. Around 400\u00a0million years ago, an epic meteorite impact sculpted the region\u2019s terrain, forming one of the most unique landscapes in the province of Qu\u00e9bec. This is a place so remarkable that the Charlevoix crater and surrounding areas were designated a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve in 1988.<\/p>\n

A Winter Wonderland<\/h4>\n

A pioneer of the all-inclusive vacation concept, Club Med is adding to its ski properties with its first and only Canadian resort opening on December 3, 2021 \u2013 Club Med Qu\u00e9bec Charlevoix, located only 90 minutes away from Qu\u00e9bec City.<\/p>\n

With a design combining a contemporary style and traditional Canadian touches, the resort is spread across 300 acres in the heart of Charlevoix, surrounded by unspoiled nature and overlooking the magnificent St. Lawrence River.
