Route
Day 1 - Anchorage
Disembark from the plane to Anchorage, Alaska’s largest city, where the conveniences of the modern world and the purity of an unspoiled wilderness mingle harmoniously. Start your day with a visit to the Anchorage Museum to learn a little more about the rich history of Alaska’s native cultures.
Then take your afternoon to explore one of the most beautiful coastal paths in the country, the Tony Knowles, on foot or by bike. This approximately 15 kilometers trail winds gently along the coast. Take advantage of this special moment to admire panoramic views of North America’s highest peak, Mount Denali. The trail begins near Oscar Anderson House and ends in Kincaid Park.
Installation at your hotel for 2 nights.

Day 2 - Anchorage
Outdoor day at the Chugach Mountains, located just 20 minutes from Anchorage. Chugach Park is one of the largest parks in Alaska. You are free to discover it your way: rafting, biking, hiking, flying or kayaking. Open your eyes! Bring your camera, the panorama is magnificent.

Day 3 - Denali
Explore Alaska’s largest national park at a pace that allows you to admire the beauty of these unique landscapes. Indeed, it is on the Denali Star train that you will cross Denali Park on an 8-hour journey with only the panorama. If you opt for a first class ticket, you will have access to a dedicated dining area and a glass platform only for the section.
Before the train arrives at the charming little town of Talkeetna, you will have the chance to see Mount Denali. It is from this location that you will have the greatest opportunity to spot black bears, brown bears, moose and other wild animals that live along the Susitna River.
Installation in a lodge in Denali for 2 nights.

Day 4 - Denali
Spend the day exploring the Denali Park reserve in your own way, where the tundra, spruce forests and grizzly bears, wolves, caribou and Dall’s sheep mingle. You can choose between flight, plane, hike, bike, or hop-on hop-off bus (optional).
This day is dedicated to adventure: the further you go in the adventure, the more you risk seeing wildlife.

Day 5 - Fairbanks
Before returning by train to Fairbanks, we take a time to stop at the city of Talkeetna to go around and discover it. This small town of just 1,000 people was born at the same time as the gold rush.
In the afternoon, return by train to Fairbanks.
Installation at the hotel for 3 nights.
Day 6 - Fairbanks
Fairbanks is rich in special activities and remains the focal point for exploring the northern Arctic. Here in summer the sun hardly ever sets. It was in this city that the legendary gold rush began in the early 1900s.
Today we are leaving for an excursion to the Arctic. Throughout this day, you will have a surprising overview of the region. You will see the Trans-Alaska oil pipeline that links the oil fields of northern Alaska to Valdez, the ice-free seaport. You will follow the legendary Yukon River, you will see the Finger Mountain and you may meet the drivers of extreme convoys that go further north, to Prudhoe Bay.
You’ll have a great chance to relax, take pictures and be charmed by the place.
Day 7 - Anchorage
We leave by snowmobile in the morning: discoveries of lakes, rivers, animals … You will never have been so close to nature!
At the end of the afternoon, return to Anchorage.
Day 8 - Anchorage
Departure for your return flight to Montreal.
