Route
Day 1 - Papeet, Tahiti
Your dream cruise begins in Tahiti, the largest and most populated island of French Polynesia. Embark on the M/S Paul Gauguin, a luxurious ship with a sober elegance and a relaxed atmosphere. All the staff will give you a warm welcome and will be at your side for the next fourteen days. A sense of welcome, friendliness, hospitality, a refined atmosphere, luxury and excellent food are all assets dear to the company you will find on board this ship.
Day 2 - Moorea (Society Islands)
Cut by spectacular mountain ridges, covered with lush vegetation, bordered by a peaceful and translucent lagoon and hemmed by beaches with majestic palm trees, Moorea’s impressive beauty is unsurpassed. Whether you take a water activity or a 4X4 excursion to discover the island’s interior, your day will be great!
Day 3 - Taha'a (Motu Mahana)
Taha’a thrives in the same lagoon as its sister island, Raiatea. Its beautiful white sandy beaches, palm trees swaying in the gentle breeze and crystal clear waters make it a paradise. It is in all exclusivity that you will taste the joys of a “Polynesian day” with the exploration of this motu, its lagoon and its delicious barbecue with local tastes. Our ambassadors, Les Gauguines and Les Gauguins, will introduce you to the songs and dances of the region.
Day 4 - Bora Bora (Society Islands)
Immediately recognizable by its Mount Otemanu, Bora Bora is nicknamed the “Pearl of the Pacific”. It has one of the most beautiful lagoons in the world dotted with several small islets. Explore this magical island on your own in complete freedom or go in small groups for a land or water excursion.
Day 5 – At sea
You have the whole day to take advantage of the facilities available at the M/S Paul Gauguin. Maybe a care at the Spa!
Day 6 - Aitutaki (Cook Islands)
Renowned for its fine sandy beaches and turquoise lagoon, Aitutaki is one of the most beautiful islands in the South Pacific. This atoll, consisting of a main island and fifteen small islets, has become one of the main tourist destinations of the Cook Islands thanks, among other things, to the warm welcome of its population.
Day 7 and 8 - At sea
You will cross the date line, an imaginary line on the surface of the Earth, which runs approximately along the 180th meridian in the Pacific Ocean. These days on board will allow you to “take the time to live”, relax around the pool, watch dolphins playing in the waves, read or participate in the activities offered by the ship’s ambassadors.
Day 9 - Vavaʻu (Tonga)
Main island of the archipelago and administrative capital, Vava’u is the second largest city in the Kingdom of Tonga. Its port called Port of Refuge is one of the most beautiful in the Pacific and deserves special attention. The waters of Vava’u are so clear that you can see the bottom 40 meters below.
Day 10 - At sea
Enjoy the peace and quiet while watching the colours of the South Pacific.
Day 11 - Savusavu (Fiji)
Located in the north, Savusavu is the second largest of Fiji’s 300 islands. Due to its remoteness, it has been able to remain authentic, making it a charming and unspoilt haven of peace.
Day 12 - Suva (Fiji)
A city of contrasts, you will find pretty colonial-style houses juxtaposed with more modern constructions. The government buildings overlooking Albert Park and Thurston Gardens, as well as the Parliament building on Victoria Parade, the main avenue, will surprise you with their original architecture.
Day 13 - Beqa (Fiji)
Beqa is a small island that looks like an earthly paradise. Surrounded by one of the largest coral reefs in the world, the island will delight divers who will be able to admire the multitude of colourful tropical fishes swarming among the countless corals. Overhung by an azure blue sky, the beautiful white sand beach will invite you to relax and contemplate.
Day 14 - Lautoka (Fiji)
You will end your cruise on this land at the end of the world… Stars in your eyes!
