Day 1 - Auckland, New Zealand

Your journey begins in Auckland, a large urban centre surrounded by volcanoes, islands, wild beaches and hiking trails. Add sunshine and exceptional wines and you’ll understand why Auckland is a must! Hop aboard the Regatta, a 5-star vessel from Oceania Cruises, for a 14-day cruise. Day 2 - Rotorua (Tauranga), New Zealand

Explore the charming parks and fascinating history of Tauranga or head to Rotorua to see its beautiful geysers, colourful landscapes and hot springs and learn about Maori culture. (Includes: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 3 - Gisbourne, New Zealand

Named in honour of one of Captain James Cook’s crew members, who discovered the area in 1769, this seaside community is deeply attached to the sea and Maori culture. Often referred to as the “Chardonnay capital of New Zealand”, Gisborne has a wide range of wine shops. To appreciate the history and art of the warm and welcoming inhabitants, the Tairawhiti Museum is a highly recommended visit. (Includes: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 4 - Napier, New Zealand

Take the time to admire the fabulous Art Deco architecture for which Napier is famous. Enjoy the picturesque countryside, tour the beautiful vineyards or visit a huge northern gannet nesting area. (Includes: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 5 - Wellington, New Zealand

Stroll past Victorian Gothic buildings and the city’s fabulous Botanical Gardens, take the cable car to the top of the mountain for fantastic views or head to the city’s beach. Wander around the beautiful harbour and admire its fabulous scenery or opt for an adventure to visit a sheep farm or the locations of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Day 6 - Akaora, New Zealand

Take the time to enjoy this little piece of paradise on earth. Nestled in the hollow of an old volcano, the largest colonies of pygmy penguins in New Zealand’s land offer themselves to your eyes. Scan the horizon for the rarest and smallest of dolphin species. This peaceful, quiet spot is ideal for relaxing and hiking. (Includes: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 7 - Dunedin, New Zealand

Explore the magnificent and wild Otago Peninsula, which is full of geological wonders, and admire the Great Albatross, which measures no less than 3 metres with its wings spread. Scan the horizon for sea lions or penguins sunbathing on the rocks. Enjoy the beautiful gardens surrounding Larnach Castle, a 19th century fortress. Once dependent on papermaking, the inventive community has transformed its industry to focus on its compelling artistic culture. Visit local artisans, the Makers’ Workshop and its papermaking process or discover Burnie’s natural treasures! A world to discover! (Includes: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 12 - Melbourne, Australia

Meet koalas, wallabies and more in a wildlife park or explore the local vineyards and beautiful Dandenong Mountains. Take a stroll and discover the city’s stunning architecture, galleries and shops. (Includes: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 14 - Sydney, Australia

Rising at the bottom of two beautiful bays on rolling hillsides, Sydney is surrounded by spectacular cliffs and wide sandy beaches.

Your overland tour starts here! A private driver will be waiting for you at the ship’s exit and will take you to your hotel, Pier One Sydney Harbor Hotel, for 3 nights. Stroll through the historic The Rocks, a vibrant area with restaurants, cafes, shops and access to the Financial District.

Day 15 - Sydney, Australia

Your private guide will welcome you and show you around in a vintage car: Holden 1964. Prepare yourself for an extraordinary experience between architecture, beaches and art. Your driver knows all the secrets, all the little corners out of the ordinary. Sydney is an amazing city!

Day 16 - Sydney, Australia

En route to The Blue Mountains including Kings Tableland, Wentworth Falls and the Three Sisters, the three famous rocks. The scenery is both grandiose and mysterious, especially with this blue drizzle! You’ll first cross the famous Sydney Bridge and make a stop at Featherdale Park to see kangaroos, koalas and many other iconic Australian animals. This day will give you a taste of the wildlife in the area. (Includes: Dinner)

Day 17 - Sydney - Ayers Rock

Transfer to the airport to catch a flight to Ayers Rock. Upon arrival, hike through Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. Your guide will show you unique flora and fauna and an Aboriginal sacred place. Listen to the wind, feel the energy as you gaze out over the world’s largest monolith – Ayers Rock. You’ll sleep for two nights at the Desert Gardens Hotel. Don’t miss the sunset!

Day 18 - Ayers Rock

Today you will see the sunrise over the huge monolith. Your guide will tell you about the stories surrounding the creation of the Liru (poisonous snake) and the Kuniya (python) and give you information about the Mala people. After breakfast, visit Mutitjulu Waterhole, a river nestled around Uluru in Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. Tonight you will have an extraordinary experience in a magical location. Imagine yourself in the desert at sunset, with wine and canapés, as 50,000 small lights come on and the natives of the area perform before your eyes! (Included: Lunch, Dinner)

Day 19 - Ayers Rock - Cairns - Palm Cove

Transfer to Ayers Rock Airport to catch a flight to Cairns. Relaxing day on the beach at Palm Cove, a beautiful natural site. Close to the sea, The Reef House is a luxury hotel perfect for relaxing and rejuvenating at the Spa. Its excellent location makes some people jealous! (Included: Lunch)

 

Day 20 - Palm Cove

Sail to the Great Barrier Reef to admire its beauties. Dive on the surface or in depth or admire the incredible marine fauna through the glass of your boat, you will feel like you are in the middle of a giant aquarium. The crew will prepare a sumptuous lunch of seafood for you, in order to offer you a top-of-the-line experience. What a delight! (Includes: Lunch, Dinner)

Day 21 - Palm Cove

Your private guide will show you Daintree National Park, Daintree River and Cape Tribulation Wanderer. You will be amazed by the unique flora and fauna. This lush rainforest has existed for nearly 150 million years and belongs to the Kuku Yalanji people. Nature lovers and botanists will be delighted, as the forest is full of rare plant species. During your walk, try to catch a glimpse of the famous Casoar, an endangered bird. A little clue: it’s a runaway bird! (Includes: Lunch, Dinner)

Day 22 - Cairns - Montreal

Transfer to Cairns airport. Return to Montreal to share your memorable moments with your loved ones!
