Day 1: Montreal - Jasper
Day 2: Marmot Basin
Marmot Basin has 85 trails suitable for skiers and snowboarders of all levels, whether beginners or professionals, but also a host of moguls, glacial cirques, steep slopes and groomed trails. Beginners can take skiing or snowboarding lessons. You can get to the slope of your choice very quickly thanks to the many modern chairlifts.
Day 3: Marmot Basin
The Marmot Basin ski resort is ideal for families. It has a ski school for children and a day care center for the little ones who are not yet of skiing age. You can also take part in family activities such as a GPS treasure hunt or enjoy the food offered by the restaurants. Families are all the more right to be tempted, as they benefit from special discounts.
Day 4: Marmot Basin
The longest high-speed quad chair in the Canadian Rockies The signature chairlift at Marmot Basin is the Canadian Rockies Express (CRE). Since its construction for the 2009/10 season, this giant chairlift covers 2.3 kilometers in less than 8 minutes and transports skiers and snowboarders to an area that offers centralized access to all the hot spots on the mountain.
Day 5: Maligne Canyon
Join a small group and descend into the gorges of the Maligne canyon. This hike will take you through unusual geological formations, behind frozen waterfalls and into caves made of ice. Explore the deepest canyon in the Canadian Rocky Mountains with a guide who will help you discover the area and provide you with many fascinating facts about Jasper and its history.
