Route

 

Day 1 - Copenhagen

Upon arrival in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, take a walk through the medieval streets of the city. This city is home to Europe’s oldest royal family as well as many artists and craftspeople.

Day 2 - Copenhagen

Lunch at your hotel.

Free day to explore the sights such as Tivoli Park, the famous Mermaid Statue, Amalienborg Royal Palace.

Take advantage of the city’s reputation for its cafés and pastries.

Day 3 - Copenhagen - Oslo

Lunch at your hotel.

In the late afternoon, departure for the ferry that will take you to Oslo.

Overnight on board the DFDS Seaways.

Day 4 - Oslo

Arrival in the morning in Oslo, the capital of Norway, beautifully situated on a fjord and surrounded by beautiful forests.

Explore important places in the city like the opera house, Vigeland Sculpture Park, Viking Museum and Munch Museum.

Day 5 - Oslo

Our suggestions: a 2 ½ hour tour with the Oslo Panorama Sightseeing through the central points of the city.

Day 6 - Oslo - Myrdal - Flåm

Lunch at your hotel.

Transfer to the station for the train to Myrdal (the journey takes 5 hours).

In Myrdal, you will change trains for the famous Flam Railway. The Flamsbana train runs through beautiful landscapes such as waterfalls and mountains.

The railway line goes down to 900 meters in the Flam valley. You will see Norway’s most important fjord, the Sognefjord.

Overnight in Flam.

Day 7 - Flåm - Gudvangen - Voss - Bergen

Lunch at your hotel.

Before continuing your tour, take the morning to discover Flam and the surroundings. Several hikes are possible on foot, by bike and by kayak.

In the afternoon, board the ferry that will take you from Aurlandsfjord and Nærøyfjord to Gudvangen.

The Nærøyfjord is the narrowest fjord in Europe and has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

From Gudvangen, you will continue your journey by bus through the Nærøyfjord valley and the Stalheimskleiva and its 13 hairpin bends.

You will end the day by train from Voss to Bergen, the 2nd largest city in Norway.

The city is surrounded by 7 mountains and 7 fjords.

Day 8 - Bergen

Lunch at your hotel.

Take advantage of your free day to explore Bergen, known for being the gateway to the fjords. The city is located on the west coast of Norway and has important landmarks: the Hanseatic Bryggen area, the Fløibanen funicular, the home of composer Edvard Grieg, the fish market and the aquarium.

Day 9 - Bergen - Stockholm

Departure from Bergen as you wish for Stockholm.

Stockholm is built on 14 islands and you are never far from the water. You will rub shoulders with magnificent medieval buildings and ultra-modern buildings. Outside the city you will find an archipelago of 24,000 islands to explore. Places of interest to visit: the Vasa Museum, the Skansen Museum, the Town Hall, the old town Gamla Stan and more.

Day 12 - Stockholm - Helsinki

Departure at the end of the afternoon to join the ferry which will take you to Helsinki.

Overnight on board the Silja in a berth.

Day 13-14 - Helsinki

Arrival in the morning in Helsinki. After lunch on board, you will discover the Finnish capital and its historic center with the Senate, the Royal Palace, the Town Hall, the market and the Uspenskiate Cathedral.

Day 15 - Departure

Lunch at your hotel and transfer to the airport for your return flight.
