Route
Day 1 - Montreal - Prague
Departure to Prague at the end of the day.

Day 2 - Prague
Arrival in Prague in the morning. Transfer from the airport to the Ambassador Hotel Zlata Husa 4 1/2 *. Check-in at the hotel and in order to get an idea of the city of Prague, go for a short walking tour (about 45 minutes) of the Old Town with a local English speaking guide. Rest of the day free.

Day 3 - Prague
Start the day with a ride on a Tram from the 20th century. Aboard this tram, discover some of the districts of the new city, the Vltana River, the National Theatre, the dominant St. Nicholas Church, the Charles Bridge and its magnificent statues. Enjoy a stop for lunch in a local restaurant before continuing with a visit to the imposing Prague Castle, dating from the 9th century and covering 45 hectares. While visiting the Castle, explore the interior of St. Vitus Cathedral, the old royal palace and the picturesque Golden Lane. Duration 8 hours.

Day 4 - Prague
Today, enjoy a buffet-style lunch on board a private panoramic cruise on the De Vltava River for 2 hours. Take the opportunity to explore the city from a different angle and marvel at the breathtaking views. Rest of the day free.

Day 5 - Prague
Take advantage of a free day to visit the Christmas markets, which date back to 1434 during the reign of Frederic II of Saxony. Explore the most beautiful Christmas markets in the Old Town Square or Wenceslas Square or visit the smaller markets in Peace Square or Republic Square. Go and discover the cribs in Loreta Square or the one in Saint Matthew’s Church made of gingerbread.

Day 6 - Prague
Today you can explore Josefov (Old Jewish Quarter), one of the oldest quarters in Prague with centuries of history of the most important Jewish communities in Central Europe. During the tour, discover one of the richest collections of Jewish art by visiting the former Pinkas, Klaus and Spanish synagogues. Also take a moment to explore Prague’s Old Cemetery founded in the 15th century, making it one of the oldest Jewish cemeteries in Europe. On the way, make a stop at the Old Synagogue, one of the oldest Gothic buildings in Prague. The rest of the day is free.

Day 7 - Prague
Take advantage of this free day to explore Prague’s historical monuments or take a stroll along Charles Bridge before meeting at 7 p.m. at the Michal restaurant to eat and attend a colourful folklore evening with musicians all dressed in period costume, singing and dancing to local folk music tunes.

Day 8 - Prague - Montreal
Early morning transfer to the airport to catch your flight back to Montreal.
