Route

Day 1 - Taipei

Upon arrival at Taoyuan International Airport (TPE), you will be met and transferred to your accommodation hotel by private car (no guide). The rest of the day will be free of charge.

Day 2 - Taipei

After breakfast, we will take a tour of the city of Taipei, including the impressive Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, the National Palace Museum where 5,000 years of Chinese imperial art and jade collections are on display, the Martyrs’ Shrine of Traditional Architecture and Changing of the Guard of Honour, a local Taiwanese temple and the Taipei Handicrafts Centre. The rest of the day will be free for you.

Day 3 - Sun Moon Lake

To be picked up in the lobby of the hotel in Taipei city, we will head to Sun Moon Lake, located in the middle of Taiwan and situated 762 meters above sea level in the high mountains of central Taiwan. The tour will stop at the famous Wenwu Temple, also known as the Literature-Warrior Temple, dedicated to Confucius as Master of the Pen and Kuan Ti as Master of the Sword, the Sacred Monk Shrine and the Ci En Pagoda. After touring the Sun Moon Lake, check in at the hotel.

Day 4 - Sun Moon Lake - Kaohsiung

Departure from the hotel, passing through the charming small and old Jiji Station, on the way to Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Monastery, the most famous Buddhist holy place in southern Taiwan. Here you will learn more about Buddhism during the walking tour of the monastery to visit the “Buddha Memorial Centre” and meet some of the monks or nuns during the visit, there will be the opportunity to enjoy a Buddhist vegetarian lunch (at your own expense). Continuing on, we will head to Kaohsiung which is the second largest city in Taiwan. The tour will take you to Love River and Liuhe Night Market. Overnight in Kaohsiung.

Day 5 - Kaohsiung - Kenting - Zhihben Hot Springs - Taitung

In the morning, a visit to Kenting National Park, located at the southern tip of Taiwan, and the 60 kilometres of coral-lined shoreline along three sides of the park are its main attractions. Stops will be made at the Eluanbi lighthouse, the picturesque coastal area of Maobitou and Longpan Park. Continuing on, we will head to Taitung via the Southern Link Highway. Overnight in Zhiben.

Enjoy the natural hot spring at the Royal Chihpen Hotel.

Jour 6 - Taitung - route panoramique de la cote est - Taroko

Après le petit-déjeuner, ce sera une excursion passionnante sur la côte Est. La zone panoramique nationale de la côte Est, connue comme “la dernière terre intacte de Taïwan”, s’étend sur 170 kilomètres le long de la côte est de l’île. Les intempéries, l’érosion et l’accumulation ont produit un large éventail de formes du relief. Notre visite s’arrêtera à Xiaoyeliu, Sanxiantai, Shitiping (Stone Steps), usine de marbre et salle d’exposition.

En fin d’après-midi, nous irons à Hualien pour une nuit au parc national de Taroko.

Jour 7 - Parc national de Tarako - Tapei

Après le petit déjeuner, nous ferons une visite au parc national de Taroko. Les gorges de Taroko sont un ravissement étroit exceptionnellement beau créé par la rivière Liwu qui a creusé profondément dans les montagnes de marbre massif. Une route creusée dans des parois abruptes de roche se rembobinant le long de pics boisés et de falaises s’élevant à des milliers de pieds au-dessus d’elle, tandis que des centaines de pieds au-dessous d’une rivière rugissent le long de gigantesques rochers de marbre. En passant par le tunnel des neuf tours, le pont Ci Mu, des arrêts seront effectués à la grotte d’hirondelle et au temple Changchun (sanctuaire de la source éternelle). Nous retournerons ensuite à Taipei avec un arrêt à Cingshui Cliff, nous traverserons le long tunnel Syue-Shan (12,9 Km) pour arriver vers 18 h 00.

 

 

Jour 8 - Taipei

Temps libre jusqu’au départ et vous serez transféré à l’aéroport pour le vol de départ en voiture privée (pas de guide).
