Route

Day 1 - Portland

Departure from Montreal to Portland before noon. Settle in at your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day to discover Portland.

Day 2 - Portland

A gastronomic tour of Portland’s arts district is scheduled for the morning. Afterwards, we will invite you to board the S.S. Legacy, an intimate boat with Victorian charm. Champagne and hors d’oeuvres will be served before your first gastronomic dinner. Welcome aboard!

Day 3 - Astoria

The Columbia River meets the Pacific in the historic port of Astoria. Enjoy the surrounding area while sampling local specialties including oysters, salmon, razor clams, halibut, sturgeon, Dungeness crab, trout and cod. Test your sense of smell and palate in a food and beverage pairing orchestrated by top chef Chris Holen. Astoria also hosts a local beer, the Buoy Beer. Need to get moving! Follow the Astoria Riverwalk Trail, discover the bridges along the historic Columbia River Railroad and access the Astoria Column for a view that’s out of this world.

Day 4 - Hoode River and Columbia Gorge

An ideal day to admire magnificent valleys interspersed with mountains and waterways, while passing through the Bonneville locks. Simply magnificent! This region is also known for its fruits. Meet the owners of a micro-brewery, Ferment Brewing Company, and discover kombucha, a local specialty. For nature lovers, a collection of different ecosystems is available to you!

Day 5 - Walla Walla, Washington

The day begins with the famous Wallula Gap combined with a decadent brunch. Then, meeting with local artisans and their passions: olive oil, chocolate, pastrami and cheeses. Culinary delights in the historic setting of the Gesa Power House Theatre! Visit the Dunham Saddlers or head downtown to explore the shops and socialize with residents.

Day 6 - Richland

Exclusive visit of the Walter Clore Wine & Culinary Center, a must for wine experts! Discover the diversity of the different wines produced in the region as well as the culinary specialties, including the wine that is the pride of the Red Mountain appellation. Visit two wineries: Terra Blanca Estate Winery & Vineyard and Terra Blanca. Wine tasting on board. The perfect day to awaken all your senses!

Day 7 - The Dalles, Oregon

Your day will begin with a visit to the Maryhill Museum, a castle housing an eclectic collection of artwork: European paintings, Rodin sculptures, First Nations artwork and more. Afterwards, take in the scenery as the boat sails through the heart of the Columbia Gorge, moving from a desert area to lush vegetation.

Day 8 - Willamette Valley

When you wake up, a sample of coffee from a local producer is waiting for you as the boat heads for the Willamette Valley. The theme of the day will be wines and great grape varieties. A paradise for oenophiles! The common point of the different visits: To make you feel like a member of the family. Take the time to discover the fragrances and flavours that are available to you. Tonight, raise your glass at the captain’s supper. A multi-course meal will be served as you share your extraordinary experiences with the people around you.

Day 9 - Portland, Oregon

It’s time to say goodbye to your friends and crew over breakfast.

A transfer is planned to the airport to take your flight back to Montreal.
