Day 1: Montreal - North Hatley
The first stop on your gourmet getaway is Waterville. Fill up on local and seasonal products at the Beaulieu farm. The place also offers a variety of ready-to-eat meals and numerous pastries.
Then head to Domaine Ives Hill to taste blackcurrants in all their forms. Learn more about the growing and processing of blackcurrants, and try Cassigria, an alcoholic drink perfect for an aperitif. Day 2: North Hatley - Montreal
Take the road to Compton to arrive at the Fromagerie La Station which is one of the must-see places in the Eastern Townships. Many cheeses are to be discovered like Chemin Hatley, Comtomme, Raclette de Compton.
Then go to the Microbrasserie Coaticook. You will find craft beers and a gourmet pub menu that will satisfy your hunger. From charcuterie bites to brie and apple burgers, you will have a wide choice!
Then head back to the Laiterie Coaticook for dessert and to refresh your palate. It’s the perfect place to try one of the best ice creams in the region!
Finish your stay by attending a nightly illuminated show of Foresta Lumina. Let yourself be guided by the magic and the enchanted forest that is populated by mysterious creatures in the Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook.
